Traditional leaders in Agatu local government of Benue State have called on Governor Hyacinth Alia to collaborate with neighboring Nasarawa and Kogi states to fortify border security, suspected to be the entry points for bandits and killer herders.
They made the call while lamenting about Agatu residents been killed by armed herders.
Beginning from the 12th of August, last year to date, a Total of 69 persons has been killed by herders attack in Agatu local government area of Benue State.
Despite the loss of life’s, Agatu people desire to dream of peace, justice and an end to bloodshed.

technology.

With memories of the past lingering, it’s expected that the state governor intervenes as the chief security officer of the State.
