The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace development, Festus Keyamo has announced that the ministry is preparing to introduce the Fly Nigeria Act to the National Assembly.
This formed part of the highlights at the fourth edition of the 2025 Ministerial Press Briefing in Abuja.
Minister of Aviation and Aerospace development explained that implementing the Fly Nigeria Act would boost Nigeria’s economy by supporting the growth of local airlines.
At the press briefing, Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, emphasised that the President’s transformative reforms will establish a solid foundation for a new Nigeria.

He also commended the media for their role in promoting transparency by keeping the public informed about government policies.
Minister of Education, Maruf Tunji Alausa, reiterated the need to strengthen existing universities rather than creating new ones, stressing the importance of rebuilding infrastructure to enhance the quality of education.
He linked the increasing number of universities to pressure from lawmakers explaining that over 200 bills proposing new universities pose a challenge to the Federal Government, as the system is already strained.
The ministers reassured Nigerians of the Federal Government’s commitment to transforming the nation’s economy.
