A notorious Boko Haram terrorist Bochu Abacha has surrendered to the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) in Borno State, In a major breakthrough in the fight against terrorism.
Abacha, a key figure in multiple terrorist operations, cited intense military pressure and loss of interest in Terrorism as reasons for his surrender.
He revealed how he escaped from a Boko Haram camp with his weapon.
Recovered items from him include an AK-47 rifle, ammunition, a mobile phone, and cash (N32,500).
Similarly, MNJTF troops, in conjunction with intelligence operatives, ambushed Boko Haram terrorists conveying logistics supplies in Gubio. One terrorist was killed, and others fled, abandoning three loaded Toyota vehicles, food items, and cash (N2,000).
