A Magistrate Sitting in Port Harcourt has struck out the charges against the Ikoku four persons who were earlier remanded and have been under detention at the Nigerian Correctional Service.
The four young men were subsequently discharged and acquitted after a report by the department of public prosecution which said they have no case to answer.
The report revealed that the charges by the police were unfounded and based on mere suspicion leading the magistrate to order their release
The men had been arraigned before the magistrate court which later declined jurisdiction and referred the case to the department of public prosecution.
