The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has opened its case against the former governor of Kogi state Yahaya Bello by calling its first witness.
Mr Bello is facing trial on a 16-count charge of alleged money laundering before Justice Maryanne Anenih of the FCT high court in Maitama.
He had pleaded not guilty to the charges and was granted bail by the court
