The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Ali Pate says the President Bola Tinubu administration is driving bold reforms to strengthen Nigeria’s health system, including expanding access to affordable healthcare through strategic partnerships.
Prof. Pate said this at the unveiling of the “DiasporaHub” App and Diaspora Health Insurance scheme organised by the Africa Diaspora Corporation in Abuja.
He described the initiative as a vital complement to government efforts in achieving universal health coverage.
He explained that under President Tinubu’s leadership, the government has prioritized health insurance reform, increased enrollment rates, and encouraged private sector and diaspora participation in the healthcare space.
