Governor of Kebbi State, Nasir Idris, has inaugurated the newly renovated General Hospital in Argungu built at a cost of over 900 million naira.
He said the move is part of a broader effort to upgrade healthcare infrastructure across the state.
Government officials, traditional rulers, and community leaders gathered to show their steadfast support for the administration.
Governor Nasir Idris emphasised that the revitalisation project aligns with his administration’s promise to provide accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare among other responsibilities for all.
Governor Idris expressed gratitude to the project contractors for delivering quality work within the stipulated time frame.
Chairman of Argungu Local Government Area, Sani Aliyu Gulma, donated 15 new motorcycles to the local government party exco and sewing machines to women as a show of his appreciation and support to the Governor’s good work in the Emirate.
Aminu Suleiman, Director General and founder Tinubu support organisation, who was present at the event commended president Tinubu and governor Nasir Idris for their commitment to ensuring good governance.
Bello Garba layya, one of the contractors of the Argungu hospital, thanked the governor for contracting a local firm for the job and fulfilling his promises to the people.
