The presiding judge of the suit filed by the senator representing Kogi Central senatorial district Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has recused himself from the case.
Justice Obiora Egwatu of the Federal High Court, Abuja had on proceedings on March 10th, adjourned proceedings to March 25th for all relevant processes to be served on parties.
At the day’s Proceedings, Justice Egwatu in a short ruling recused himself from the case and ordered that the case file be transferred to the Chief Judge for reassignment to another judge for the continuation.
He noted that his recusal is a result of rumors of bias against him.
