Kebbi State government, Nasir Idris has donated N20m to the National Health Insurance Scheme, NHIS, to procure equipment and furniture for its North West Zonal Office, Birnin Kebbi.
The governor also presented a Digital Certificate of Occupancy produced by the Kebbi Geographical Information System, KEBGIS, to officials of the agency, as legal occupants of the building.
At the ceremony in Birnin Kebbi, governor Idris thanked the Federal Ministry of Health for giving Kebbi State the opportunity to host the zonal office, NHIS North West Zone.
The governor expressed his administration’s readiness to accommodate the zonal office,and plans to partner with NHIS to improve the health indices of the state.
