The nine surveyors kidnapped in Akure North Local government area of Ondo state have regained their freedom.
The surveyors were abducted by some gunmen while working at a site at Ilu-Abo last Tuesday
Confirming the development, a brother to an Akure high Chief, Ajibade Owolanke, said the abducted surveyors were released last night.
He added that they regained freedom after the payment of twenty million naira ransom.
Mr. Owolanke also confirmed that the surveyors were already at in Akure but declined to disclose their location.
