Another medical attempt to determine the true cause of the death of musician, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly called Mohbad, has hit a brick wall.
This comes as, the independent forensic pathologist, Dr. Uwom Eze, who conducted a second autopsy and forensic medical review on Mohbad told the coroner, Adedayo Shotobi, hearing the inquiry that the cause of his death couldn’t be determined due to the advanced stage of post-mortem changes in his body as at the time the corpse was examined.
The 26 year old was said to have died on September 12, 2023 in questionable circumstances after sustaining an injury on the back of his right arm.

He was treated and given an injection at his Lekki home by a supposed Nurse and died shortly after he developed a sudden convulsion.
He was buried the following day.
Following a massive public outcry, he was exhumed on September 21, 2023 for an autopsy on the orders of the Lagos state government.
The findings in that autopsy concluded on April 29, 2024 showed that the cause of death couldn’t be ascertained as the internal organs were already “in a state of moderate to severe decomposition”.
But by an order of the court sitting at the Magistrate Court, Ikorodu issued in June 2024, a second autopsy was conducted upon the request of the Aloba family.
Among the latest findings, the expert witness, said the cause of death is unknown, but he wouldn’t rule out a severe reaction to an injection administered on Mohbad shortly before his death.
