The Northern States Governors’ Forum and the Northern Traditional Rulers Council are meeting in Kaduna to address security, economic, and environmental challenges in northern Nigeria.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya the chairman of the Forum, in an opening address emphasized the importance of unity and a focus on youth empowerment, poverty alleviation, and agricultural development to combat issues like terrorism and youth unrest.
He highlighted ongoing efforts to improve security and urged continuous collaboration with security agencies.
Additionally, Governor Yahaya advocated for economic interventions, agricultural investment, and infrastructure improvements to drive growth and address recent environmental challenges, such as flooding.
