The Ondo State Election Petitions Tribunal has commenced proceedings with its inaugural sitting at the State High Court in Akure, the state capital.
Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy, Olayide Adelami are present at the session, which is set to address petitions arising from the November 16, 2024 governorship election.
The three man tribunal headed by Nelson Ugubu is tasked with resolving disputes stemming from the election, began with preliminary hearings concerning petitions filed by aggrieved parties.
