A Lagos High Court has granted an interim injunction to restrain Adewale Oladapo, also known as Biggie from interfering with a four-hectare parcel of land in Osapa, Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State.
The ruling, delivered by Justice Ashade was in response to a Motion ex-parte filed by Capital Gardens Limited, the claimant in the suit.
The court granted three major orders to prevent the defendants, their agents, and other related parties from interfering with the land in question until the substantive suit is determined.
The disputed land is located in Hampton Estate, also known as Eletu Odibo land, within Osapa in the Lekki area of Lagos.
To preserve the subject matter of the litigation and prevent unlawful encroachment, Justice Ashade ruled that the restraining order was necessary.
In addition to the restraining order, the court also granted Capital Gardens Limited permission to publish a notice in newspapers and media platforms, warning potential buyers and third parties against dealing with the defendants in relation to the disputed land.
