A Group within the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, known as the ‘Osun Progressives Independent Forum’, has called for a free, fair and credible primary election that will produce the Governorship candidate of the party ahead of 2026 election.
Addressing Journalists in Osogbo, the group emphasised that it is ready to support any credible candidate fairly elected as the APC’s flag bearer for the election.
Coordinator of the group, Sunday Olayiwola assured commitment to the success of the APC calling on the leadership of the party to employ transparency, credibility and all- inclusiveness in electing its governorship candidate for the poll.
While promising to mobilise two hundred thousand new registrants during voters registration exercise by INEC, the Group also cautioned against advocacy for a particular zone or senatorial district to produce the party’s flag bearer ahead of the election.
