Operatives Of the Nigerian Police Force have denied Journalists accredited to cover the Lagos State House of Assembly access to the complex.
Journalists who were at the complex to cover various committee meetings and other assignments at the complex could not get access with the main gate and access cordoned off by Police with enhanced presence.

The Speaker, Mojisola Lasbat-Meranda, had adjourned plenary Sine Dine in February following an invasion of the complex by operatives of the Department of State Service and the confusion that followed.
Events took another twist after the return of impeached former Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa, who presided over plenary and also adjourned sine dine.
Though the matter of the legality or otherwise of the impeachment of the former Speaker is currently before a Lagos State High Court, efforts have been on to resolve the matter amicably and prevent a prolonged crisis.
The new development and what follows will be determined in the nest few days, weeks and probably months.
