The Kano State Police Command has announced the arrest of a suspect and recovery of explosives following a terror plot and attack alert in the State.
Commissioner of Police, Simon Garba, made the announcement at a Press briefing in Kano.
The CP said the State Police Command has taken proactive measures to ensure that security issues are dealt with decisively.
He added that the suspect had departed the State following the alert but was arrested and brought back to Kano.
The CP urged the public to continue to partner with the Police to provide useful information to ensure crimes are nipped in the bud before they are commited.
