The Minister of state for Defence, Bello Matawalle has received in audience the former governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha in his office at the Ministry of Defence, in Abuja.
The former Zamfara Governor has been up and doing in the discharge of his constitutional roles by ensuring the safety of the Nation’s Territorial Integrity.
The minister of Defence, Bello Matawalle engaged the former Imo Governor, Rochas Okorocha in meaningful deliberations on critical issues of National development.
Some of the key issues discussed Includes Security and the collective responsibility of all citizens to promote peace and unity across the country.
Senator Okorocha during the visit reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the Renewed Hope Initiatives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a more secure, prosperous, and inclusive Nigeria.
Senator Rochas Okorocha and Dr. Bello Matawalle have been good friends for long and the former Imo state governor had visited Matawalle at the Government House Gusau while as Zamfara state Governor in the year.
The Minister State for Defence who was a former two term member of the House of Representatives appreciate the visit and commend Senator Rochas Okorocha for putting Nigerian first.
