Sokoto state governor Aminu Tambuwal has said newly appointed members of the state executive council should brace up for a work filled administration.
He made the admonition after the swearing-in ceremony of twenty members of the state
The newly appointed commissioners were charged to be diligent in the discharge of their duties as the new administration is going to be full of work.
The governor also cautioned members of the public to allow the commissioners concentrate as they discharge their duties.
The expectations of residents in Sokoto are high and they want the new administration to improve service delivery, in key sectors of the state economy
Among those newly appointed is Sagir Bafarawa the son of the former Sokoto state Governor Attahiru Bafarawa , and he insists that his being chosen as commissioner was based on merit and the governor’s discretion.
The Secretary to State Government and the Chief of Staff Government House were also administered the oath of office as the Governor charged the SSG to use his experience to coordinate the administration for better service delivery.
